About Time...

Well after many tries, I finally got my picture to post correctly. But with a great looking picture like that, I think it will stay that way for a long time. Or it is just I don't want to go through that again.

Life is great! It was alot of fun to go to work this morning (Elementary School) and find that the parking lot is packed with cars for the eventful, "Dad's and Donuts". Yep all the kids bring their dads to the school to get a fill of donuts, suck down some OJ or Milk, and read with their child. Well this morning, there was a Kindergartner who came up to me and told me his dad was at work, but he really wanted a donut. So I thought, "My this will be such a wonderful opportunity to do service this morning." OR "I wanted a donut too...mmmmm!" Anyway, the kid and I went down to the lunchroom, where we aquired a donut and some Chocolate Milk. (I capitalized Chocolate Milk to show you how much I like it.) The kid went and grabbed a book for me to read to him. After sitting down and all ready for the book and treats, the kid looked up at me and said, "Mr. Lemon, We have our donuts and coffee and we are just like Cops, but I don't drink coffee." That brought on a good chuckle.

Also I never knew that my name could change so much. At the first of the school year, the students all laughed at the name of Mr. Lemon. They just couldn't get over that, some kids still haven't. I have been called Mr. Grape, Lemon, Lemonhead, Mr. Lemonhead, and most recently from the three year old preschoolers that come to Speech class...Daddy! Every time I go in there there is some three year old that yells, "DADDY" at the top of their lungs and then runs to attach themselves to my leg. Good times!

Well that was just today at work! Man, I love my job. Well Life is great! I am still engaged to such a wonderful girl. Shout out to her, even though she never reads it. Love you Alice!
